US-England Watch Party at Green Street

SANDY, Utah (Wednesday, June 9, 2010) – Real Salt Lake and Budweiser are proud to partner with Green Street – the popular Trolley Corners bar & restaurant – to host the largest viewing party in the state of Utah for this Saturday’s massive USA-England FIFA 2010 World Cup Group Stage opener in South Africa. The FREE viewing party at Green Street (602 East 500 South) – open only to fans 21 & older (no membership required) – will be open to the first 1,500 soccer-crazed fans that make it out to the venue on Saturday morning.

Green Street will be opening its doors at 9:00 a.m., allowing patrons the chance to get comfortable and pick the best spots for viewing the match on any one of its 34 televisions before kickoff approaches at 12:00 noon. Drink and food specials will be available all day, and Real Salt Lake will be on hand to hold drawings for authentic adidas Jabulani World Cup Game Balls and autographed RSL merchandise. While fans at Green Street will be watching the USA begin its chase after the most prestigious trophy in sports, they will also have the opportunity to get their picture taken with another impressive piece of hardware, the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy that RSL acquired via its 2009 MLS Cup championship.
